Stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of our holiday. There was 5 of us travelling together so booked a 6 bed dorm. We knew that we would have to put up with another person in our room that night but didn't worry. However, when two people walked in we knew something was wrong. Sadly the strict... more

This hostel is more or less what you can expect from a St Christopher's London hostel: the staff can vary from very nice and helpful to rude, the room are basic and always look like the need to be renewed, the bathrooms are acceptable, cleaniness is not bad. The atmosphere is however nice, with many international travellers and the Belushi... more

This is the Worst Accomodation I ever stayed in. Deplorable service from the start. We were charged double the agreed booked rate. Given a tiny room, filthy cot, traffic noise and cold coming right through the ancient window which didn't close. To add further insult, the inept reception staff were painfully slow, with too many newbies left (alone) to mind... more

If you like dirty bedsheets, extremely small rooms with never-cleaned windows that you cannot close, shitty toilets, location right on a full-of-cars street - that's perfect hostel for you. SERIOUSLY - that was THE WORST HOSTEL EVER - expensive, shabby, never again. TOTALLY NOTHING TO RECOMMEND. Think twice before booking.. more

This was booked at the last minute, and we booked the Shepherds Bush property. The day before, they rang and changed us to the London Bridge property, which wasn't really a problem, as I like the London Bridge area. Check-in was dis-organised, and slow. When it is 11.30pm and you are tired, this wasn't really what I wanted. We eventually... more

My sister and I did a tour of Europe and stayed here while we were in London. The hostel was alright, the rooms were okay, but the mattresses weren't so great. You could feel all the springs in them. We also had an issue because we were told when we checked in that we would have to change rooms during... more

My boyfriend and I travelled Europe for well over a month staying in hostels the entire journey, and we both agree that this was the worst stop of the trip due to the utterly unsatisfactory conditions of this hostel. The only thing to recommend St. Christopher's Village is its location and, quite frankly, that just isn't enough. It became obvious... more

Have you been to University or College? And there's always at least that one dorm/rez that all about the party? This place is it. Don't expectfrills. I have serious doubts the matress sheets were clean, and the Duvet cover - no chance they changed those. There is a bar downstairs and that pretty much sums this place up. They describe... more

this is the only hostel I've stayed in so far, so the beds may be a standard hostel thing, but the mattress were a joke. But the location cannot be beat (except maybe by the other st. christopher's right up the street, which I will probably stay at next time). It was definitly an early 20s crowd for the most... more

The staff was helpful and friendly. There's a hot guy that works there. I like the fact that they give you a card rather than a key for your room because it fits nicely in a wallet. The area it's in is nice during the day, but I didn't really like it at night. It's near a station, so that... more
