Eliza Lodge was our first stop in our travels through Ireland in September. We loved the location! It was located right in the heart of Temple Bar. Our room was a bit on the small side but held all of the comforts we appreciated after a long flight from California and a lovely view of the Liffey. The staff was... more

This was our 3rd visit to Eliza Lodge and it was probably the most enjoyable yet. Karen Byrne was kind enough to put us in a corner penthouse room (ask for Room 400) with an outdoor balcony and terrific views up and down the Liffey. The room is also a little roomier than other rooms we've stayed at during previous... more

First visit to Dublin on the occasion of a family birthday gathering. Our room was a corner suite overlooking the Liffey, more than adequate in size and with every amenity including a spa bath and (other hotels please note ! ) an iron and fold away ironing board. Every thing was clean and comfortable which was probably just as well... more

My brother and I stayed at the Eliza Lodge in a room with two twin beds. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was on the third floor and had a fantastic view of the River Liffey. There is no luxury to this room, but the furniture and bedding are nice and the room and bathroom were very clean. The room... more

Mr & Mrs Localshopper made a brief (but very enjoyable) visit to Dublin earlier this week. Despite an early arrival (9.30 am) Eliza Lodge were able to accommodate us there and then with a room facing the Liffey. Clean rooms in good condition, nice breakfast, friendly staff and a very keen price for Dublin. more

The Eliza Lodge was exactly what we had expected. We booked the top corner room with the balcony. It was a beautiful view and fun to people watch. The room was small, but comfortable. I highly recommend this room. We walked to the nearby Temple Bar area, Grafton Street, even to the Guiness Brewery - it was quite a walk,... more

first time we stayed at this centrally located hotel and would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Dublin. Booked a small penthouse room for 4 nights and found it was very good value for money. Room was small but clean and had great views over the Liffey. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast, included in... more

Eliza Lodge is not a Hotel per se, so don't expect a welcome desk. You enter by the restaurant downstairs and then you're directed towards a usually unmanned reception desk. The rooms are absolutely tiny but comfortable. If you're tall like me, be warned: your feet will hang out the bottom of the bed. Breakfast is OK but you have... more

Stayed here on the last night of our Ireland vacation mostly for what I thought was a good deal in a nifty/fun location. I asked for a quiet room, I got one that faced a busy street. The bed, although comfortable, took up the ENTIRE bedroom. The sheets and blankets, very necessary because we couldn't control the temperature IN the... more

I have to say. Maybe this was one of the best hotel in Dublin. It could be. That doesn't mean I liked it! The room was nice and large. The hotel has a wonderful location, right in the middle of Temple Bar. Little bit of noise in the night, ok, but it is lovely to live the city. The room... more
