Excellent hotel, very spacious rooms, good bar, not too far from the city centre (about 10 mins walk), friendly staff, efficient checkin etc, overall well worth the money more

I stayed in this hotel in October 2005. As a lot of people have said in their reviews, it is true that this hotel is not really in the city centre, but it still isn't awfully far away for the centre. There is a bus stop very near to the hotel, from where you can easily to the center of... more

I had read all the previous reviews and was very wary of staying here, however I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived that nothing I have read before for me were true. The area is ok and there is a shop next door which is fine and yes it is between 10-15 minutes to Grafton Street, but the walk... more

Went here on girlie getaway and had brilliant time! Our flight arrived early and we were in Dublin for 10am and weren't due to check in until 3pm. We thought we would chance our luck and went along to the Holiday Inn anyway and our room was ready for us which was excellent. The staff couldn't have been more friendly... more

They stated on the website they had large rooms with two Queensize beds in them, so we splashed out for our last night in Ireland. We were disapointed that our room was tiny with one queen bed. We complained and were told that they only had a few rooms with two beds and they were smoking rooms. I know most... more

I went to Dublin with three other girls and we stayed here for one night. We got the travel pass for the bus from the airport, this cost 10euros and lasted for the two days.. this gives you unlimited travel and travel to and from the airport. Granted the hotel in a 15min walk from the city center but with... more

Do not stay here unless you have too. The other post are true. It is not near city centre, it is run down and you would not expect a hotel of this nature to be called a Holiday Inn. It also should not be legal to call the hard items left at the head of the bed 'Pillows' (that said... more

My Wife and I stayed 3 nights. This Hotel is at the wrong end of Pearse Street in a very run down, hostile area. Our room needed a good refurbishment.Whilst it was clean the carpet was old and worn out and the bathroom sealant was discoloured and yukky. On the plus side the staff were nice and the restaurant/bar redeems this otherwise poor... more

Have stayed in many hotels around the world and this one is not the worst. 20 mins taxi from the airport, check in was a pleasant experience, with the staff being friendly and informative. Room was very comfortable and clean although I do agree the hotel does look a little tired. Breakfast was fine, everything you needed with very friendly... more

This hotel is not in the city centre, it is a good ten to fifteen minute walk. On a dirty neglected street, also out of the way of the tour buses. The service was very poor, unfriendly check in staff , the breakfast was the worst breakfast I have ever had at a Holiday Inn and we are frequent users.... more
