I booked to stay at the Timhotel Palais Royal Louvre for 3 nights in December we thought a 3 day break before the christmas madness. The day before we left on the Eurostar I got a phone call saying that there was a problem with our room due to a water problem. They said they had found a hotel of... more

We booked this hotel based only on the location (walking distance) to the Louvre and the rating others had written here. But because we don't travel often I perhaps was expecting more. This hotel was clean but the room and bathroom especially was very small and the street noise was terrible. I thought it was tolerable but my teenager didn't... more

Due to the high season. I was unable to book the hotel, where I always try to stay in Paris, so I booked this terrible hotel. Generally - the hotel is clean, but all additional services are ungroundedly expensive. The safe box costs 4 euros per night., the WiFi connection - 8 euros per hour, although in most of the... more

Overall ,hotel was clean, pleasantly decorated, very convenient and staff on reception polite and friendly. However the walls were very thin and we had a very disturbed couple of nights with people coming and going and doing goodness knows what at all times. The space in the shower was very limited and the waterflow erratic making for a some what... more

The rooms are tiny, the shower in the bathroom is so small, if you dropped your soap, you would actually have to get out of the shower to pick it up. The beds are hard, and you have about 7 square feet of floor space. The service is spotty, with some good workers, and some bad ones. At checkout, we... more

A perfectly adequate hotel, and not much different from so many others in Paris. On the plus side, the location is fabulous - 10 min walk to the Louvre and les grand magasins. On the down side, it's pretty pricey for what it is and it's quite noisy. Wouldnt rave about it, but cant complain too much either. more

Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. However the rooms are tiny and you can barely fit in the bathroom. The walls are also paper thin so you hear ever coming and going from the adjacent rooms. The beds are also quite hard and the pillows are very thin. But if you want a cheap clean room to use as a base... more

All the people at the front desk were helpful and spoke English. They provide a breakfast for 10 Euros but there are cafes and bistros within walking distance that have much better choices. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the metro and the neighborhood is quiet. The rooms are very small but well maintained and clean, you're in... more

We stayed at the Timhotel Palais Royal Louvre for one night in September. It was our first time in Paris and we loved the Timhotel. The staff was so friendly and even though we couldn't check in because our room wasn't ready, they took care of my luggage so we could site see. The hotel is little and has a... more

The position was good, just few minute from the metro. Rooms are too small but who 's care, people have just to sleep into the rooms. The staff Of the hotel was miserable, not very friendly and not well educated, very very rude AND THEY DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH....WHAT A SHAME!!!! But I have to say that the room was very... more
