Recently found this hotel in a small town (Unterfohring) 1 stop before Ismaning on the S8. It is 100m from the train station and is 25 min to the Munich airport. It makes a lot of sense to stay outside the center city and use public transit to get around. The Comfort Hotel is a hundred meters from the S-Bahn station (trains every 20 minutes).
