Room was OK plenty of space but why oh why dont continental hotels not have tea/coffee making facilities? Breakfast had to be taken in the restaurant next door. Staff were not overly friendly r helpful. Location is good for La Rambla, but is more of a 2/3 star hotel in UK. Expect more from a 4 star rating. more

Stayed at Royal Rambles before back in 2006 with 20 others from the Fire Service it was great then. It was just as good this time. Its in prime position 100m from Catalunya sq on Rambles when we go back to Barca we'll stay there again. Clean polite helpful loved it. more

Stayed here two nights in December. Great hotel and the location is superb. Found the staff helpful and the late checkout for an extra €10 is good value. Room was nice anc clean. Would recommend to anyone looking for a convenient base in Barcelona. more

The only bad thing about our stay at the Royal Ramblas was that we only had one night there. It's a very nice hotel right in the heart of Las Ramblas, yet it's quiet as can be even though our room overlooked the Ramblas. Check-in was easy and we had help with our bags.
