Very cool hotel, well renovated to preserve the charming historical details, but with all the modern comforts. I stayed at the Hotel de las Letras for only 2 nights. I liked the location, however it comes with the noise from the Gran Via. The fashionable decoration is a bit overdone, as a friend of mine would say: it has all the "twitches" of present-day decor aesthetics and resources. more

Undoubtable very stylish, excellent location. However, my room facing Gran Via (main road) was terribly noisy. Aircon did not work (centrally disabled during my stay in September), so the room got very hot. Beds are on carts, so pretty mobile... in particular if two make a "king size".
