How old are the promotional photos? False advertising. The reception area is the only true depiction. Room size is terrific. Location is fantastic. Within walking dstance to the city and Kings Cross. Pleanty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Asset is clothes drier and washing machine. Fridge freezer large enough to hold 4 600m bottles esential when travelling on the cheap.... more

I travel interstate frequently due to work. I stayed at this hotel because it was recommended, and close to where I needed to attend meetings. what a mistake. The first room I was given was ok - it was one of the refurbished rooms; however it had an interconnecting door with the lounge chair pushed against it. As a woman... more

I'd read the good and bad reviews on this place, but took a chance anyway... Our experience was consistent with the 'bad' reviews. No reception (had to telephone a call centre to ultimately get access through the caretaker); a foul smelling fridge which tainted the room and anything in the fridge (which they wouldn't replace and their efforts to clean... more

This is an awful place. Just don't go there. The reception is never attended and when it is, the staff are hopeless. The "dining room" is deserted, with dirty dishes piled high with hardly any food available. It is minimalist to say the least. Rooms spacious but if you are in one of the non renovated rooms, they are not... more

We have just returned from our stay at the hotel and, on the whole, it was a great place to have chosen: 1) A beautiful walk takes you through the Botanical Gardens to the Opera House - we did this on our 1st day and it was our 1st sight of Sydney! 2) Rooms are clean, very spacious (much better... more

We stayed here in early January. Before arriving, the property rang me and asked what time I would be arriving so I let them know (about 3.00pm). This is because the desk is only attended at certain times of the day. When I got there no one was around and I couldn't get in. I called the central reservations number... more

Large apartment, great view Rm 302. This apartment needs a very good clean. Carpet worn and very dirty with stains. Walls with marks all over. Hair on bathroom floor, toilet under seat revolting. Mould in shower. Kitchen ok but you would need to clean every thing before using. Bed sheets fine, blankets thin and stained. Couch needs a very good... more

I have stayed in this apartment hotel on three occasions and do not like it. Some of the staff are rude and the rooms, while large, are of varying quality. Make sure you don't arrive late at night - it makes them angry! Breakfast is basic but adequate. And as this is a "serviced apartment" rather than a hotel, the... more
