This was my first stay at Paradise Pier. My brother was treating my mother and I to 3 days at Disneyland. We had a 3rd floor room. These rooms all have little porches with direct access to the pool. We booked this one night (Nov. 5, 2008). The hotel was fairly empty, so they upgraded us to a view of the park. Stayed in Room 1126. Great view of Disney's California Adventures and the mountains. Unfortunately, there during the fires so lobby even had smoky smell. Rooms were fine and no smoky smell above the lobby level. Refrigerator, safe, coffee pot all nice to have and working well. What impressed us most was the staff. Everyone went out of their way to be extremely helpful, polite and so very friendly. Our room was upgraded upon early arrival.
