We stayed at the GCH in mid December for two nights as part of a one week stay in LA. Our primary reason for going to the GCH was to celebrate our daughter's 11th birthday. We booked a room with Downtown Disney views and at the time of booking were advised that bunk accomodation would be available in the room... more

We stayed at the Grand California in mid december in order to get a "disney" holiday experience. The lobby was beautiful as were our rooms. The hotel is perfect for the holidays because of the lodge feel. The only complaint that I had was the lack of disney touches. It felt like a really nice hotel but not necessarily a... more

We stayed in room 3143 12/8 - 12/12 and it was fantastic! Our room was situated over Downtown Disney right above the walkway into the hotel between Libby Lu and Sephora. We had a terrific view of the fireworks from our balcony and were able to listen to the musicians who played just to the right of our room in... more

Sooo expensive. But our two day stay over Thanksgiving weekend was worth the extra money. We travel a lot for business and fun. These rooms are wonderful. Nothing fancy or magical, but the beds are awesome. Just what you need after a day at the park. Feather pillows, comforters and firm matresses. Our bad backs were in heaven. We booked... more

I stayed at the Grand Californian from November 16 - 21 with my partner. This was the best Disney Hotel we have ever stayed in. Our room had a view of Downtown Disney and the Courtyard. Our room featured a king bed and because we were in a corner room, there was more space. The quality of the decor, toiletries,... more

We stayed at the Grand California for only $249 as our friend lives in So. Calif and was able to book the room using her Disney season pass. We ended up purchasing season passes and asked about rates for upcoming spring break, and they are well over $400, so we decided not to go back due to price. The hotel... more

Very nice place. Everything is beautiful, the service is good, the rooms fine, etc. We were however a bit disappointed that there just wasn't anything that really stood out as magical. We stayed one night and will come back to really check things out as our stay was too short to decide to not come back. For the price and... more

We spent one night before Thanksgiving in a standard room. This hotel is beautiful and well kept. The room was of a good size in my opinion. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries and linens were what I would expect of a luxury hotel. I can't complain about anything here save for the price of the room itself. That... more

I can't say enough about the excellent service at this hotel. We decided to splurge at the last minute and stay overnight at the hotel to celebrate a birthday and I don't regret it. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. In fact, we decided to enjoy the hotel and downtown Disney the first night and go to Disneyland... more

Had a wonderful stay at the Grand Californian. Check in was a little on the average side as she didn't give us much information about the property and the magic mornings but we soon found out what to do and where to go. Ate at the Storytellers cafe first night staff their were excellent. The rooms were very comfortable. had... more
