My husband and I have stayed at many hotels, including 4 and 5 star hotels. I have to say that the Holiday Inn Express Boston (a 2 star) was one of the best, if not the best, hotel we've stayed at. The room was large and came with a microwave and fridge (plus TV). The hotel was clean and quiet,... more

My boyfriend and I wanted to stay the weekend in Boston, so we booked at Holiday Inn Express. Its pretty much down a shitty street, we drove by it 3 times and finally found it. The inside was just renovated and we got a room on the second floor. The tv;s didnt work so they gave us another room with... more

A great deal for a hotel close to Boston. We paid less than $100/night for a very nice, clean, comfortable room; the cost of the room included a great breakfast buffet (eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, English muffins, fruit, etc). The front desk people were extremely helpful and friendly. The T (subway) station is less than a 10 minute walk... more

We stayed here for 3 nights while sightseeing in the Boston area. Great location for the price, close to the metro, free parking, decent breakfast buffet, free internet in the lobby. The front desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. I loved the toiletries provided in the room. Nothing luxurious, but that wasn't our expectation when we booked it. It... more

Following recommendations on here we stayed 1 night here in October. Great price compared with a lot of other places, only 5 minutes walk from the T Stop (Andrew - on the red line - 2 stops from South Station and 3 from Downtown Crossing so vey quick to centre of town) Didn't really feel unsafe both at night or... more

This hotel was the first we stayed in on our trip and we knew at least that it was good, clean and supplied us with a buffet Breakfast to start us on our way. We were recommended this hotel by an ex-collegue of my partner's who had stayed here the previous August. The room provided everything we were looking for... more

If you want a reasonably priced, clean hotel, with free parking and easy access to a subway stop this is it. The hotel is situated about a 5/10 minute walk from Andrew Station. Although you wouldn't class the area as upmarket it certainly seems safe enough. We walked back and to to the station both in daylight and at night... more

We needed an affordable place to stay while in Boston on our vacation. This was one of the most inexpensive places near Downtown Boston. The parking was free which is a huge plus in the area. Many hotels were charging a lot of money for parking. It was a short walk to the train station to get to downtown. For... more

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. I believe it has gone through some improvements since we were here last. It's a great location to hop the subway to anywhere in Boston. We came by car, and parking is free. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We checked in fairly early and a room was ready. Front... more

The hotel is just fine. All staff friendly, clean, normal room. Breakfast was basic but better than continental and good. The hotel is (without traffic) 5 minutes outside downtown in South Boston. We took the subway to Fenway, was easy enough and a few minutes walk. Its next to a strip mall with Marshall's, Target, Applebees. Therefore - if you... more
