Got two rooms through Priceline for a long weekend in Boston. Read previous reviews about the loaction but that was deceiving. You're close enough to the T stops, North End and Beacon Hill. Hotel staff was great. Rooms are wedges owing to the design of the building but who stays in the room with so much to do. more

Our experience echoed that of the numerous earlier reviews although the overall impression was of clean and tidy austerity compared to other hotels elswhere in the U.S. in this price range ($287.10 + tax per night). However, convenience and comparative vfm (Boston's central hotels can be much more expensive) are pursuasive.factors. And the only adverse impression was on entering our... more

The hotel was very nice but the regular prices are very expensive. Luckily I had a group discount price but I can't imagine paying the regular rate. It's proximity to Fanuil Hall and the Garden are great. I walked quite a ways by myself and felt completely safe the whole time. The front desk was very nice. I would definitely... more

I booked this hotel on priceline for $200 a night plus tax. That was a big discount off the regular rates for October (rooms start at $339 per night.) I still think it was a little overpriced for what I got. The room was tiny. The double bed took up most of the space. There was no closet, only a... more

Second stay @ this hotel, sorry to report it did not impress this time. Staff remains wonderful and location is ideal for Garden shows. But rooms are rather shabby and in need of attention. Started in room 704, two double beds. Carpet was dirty, no care had been taken to clean crumbs and random guest detritus. Gross. Thermostat controls where... more

If you're looking for a nice hotel in the center of Boston, the Bullfinch is a great choice. The rooms are on the small side, but clean and well appointed. I found all the staff to be very helpful and welcoming. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I would definitely visit this hotel again. more

I just returned from four nights at the Bulfinch Hotel. Having booked this hotel thru priceline, I still thought it was EXTREMELY expensive for a hotel. Boston seems to have a shortage of hotel rooms, therefore the prices seem much higher than even NYC. I bid for several days on priceline and was unable to get even a 3 star... more

We stayed at the Bullfinch for one night before going on a cruise. We booked it as the price seemed very reasonable for a Boston hotel- we'd stayed the previous week at Jurys - very good but expensive. The Bullfinch was a fantastic hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were great, modern and comfortable with everything you needed.... more

This hotel does not belong in the top 20 hotels by any stretch, although it was clean and relatively inexpensive. The staff is pleasant but inexperienced in customer relations, the rooms are tiny disproportionate to value (price/location), and security is an issue. Key cards work intermittently, the tiny lobby desk was unoccupied on occasion. Could be a nice place if... more

I hesitate to write a poor review based upon 1 bad experience. However, I believe the problem that I experienced speaks volumes about the management of the Bulfinch. I stayed there one night. My initial greeting and the appearance of my room was good. However, the problem began at approximately midnight when a hotel neighbor began knocking on a nearby... more
