We booked 4 rooms last minute for New Year's Eve, however, knowing we were taking 3 grand kids, we made sure we could cancel the reservations. We we assured we could if we cancelled 24 hours ahead. On December 28, I noticed the hotel had charged my credit card $1,200. I called and was told it was a mistake and... more

I got a promotional rate of just $109 at this place, and normally I wouldn't complain about anything when paying so little for a Westin. Unfortunately we had a few problems. The first was the heating, which is kind of important in Boston in December. The heating system was only blowing cold air at first, and while they did come... more

I live in a Boston suburb, but needed to be out of my house due to renovation. So my husband and I booked a room for a Friday night to do some holiday shopping. I booked the cheapest, Internet rate. When we arrived, the valet was in chaos. They had too many cars, not enough valets, and there were cars... more

Booked for 3 nights. Upon check-in asked to change to 2 nights. Was told that could not be done because of the fine print. Talked to Westin corporate and they said they would ask the hotel to refund one night, as a gesture of good customer service and that I would get an email response. I have not had a... more

I have stayed at the property twice for business now. Positives: -- Located right in heart of Back Bay and near to Newbury/Boylston St area (easy walk to dining and shopping) -- Attached to Copley mall which can be helpful for shoppers and in bad weather (you can walk to Prudential building inside) -- Views from the rooms I have... more

My friend and I were in Boston for a Bridge tournament and stayed at the Westin Copley Plaza. All-in-all, a good hotel in a great location. The Westin is located at Copley plaza and attached to one of the most amazing systems of indoor mall/walkways I've experienced. Check-in was prompt and professional and our room was on the 11th floor... more

I stayed at this property in early November, and it was a lack-luster experience. It's a very good location in the city, the staff are perfunctory. The rooms are unexciting due to it's early 80's mall/ block architecture, low ceilings, cookie-cutter layouts; and not unclean, but not exactly crisp. With only that, I'd give the hotel a fairly neutral to... more

I stayed in the Westin Copley Place for business back in July. My room was on a corner of the building on the 36th floor. For this reason, my room had a bit of an unusual design, but the view was spectacular. I had about a 260 degree view since being on the corner and could see from Logan Airport,... more

Good confortable hotel downtown Boston. Rooms are spacious with the Heavenly Beds which always make a stay at the Westin worth your while. Had no problem with internet, room service was great - no glitch. Exactly what you expect from this kind of hotel. The breakfast buffet was nice but I have seen better in other hotels in downtown Boston.... more
