We enjoyed a 3 day stay at the Midtown Hotel in Boston recently. We picked the hotel for it excellent location, and it didn't dissapoint. It's around the corner from 2 "T" stops, and within walking distance of the city centre, as well as the Cambridge area. Apart from the location the hotel itself is functional, rather than exceptional. The... more

ok basic hotel, not the prettiest but functional and fairly cental location, though on a big main road. Feels a bit like a residence for students but clean and big rooms, just not fancy or luxurious. I got a very cheap rate on hotwaire so worth it for one night at $120. more

Stayed here at the start of our New England Tour, which was a package so we had no choice in our accomodation. Guess it must be cheap as most of the other hotels we stayed at were of a similar level. On a tour you only stay at a hotel for one or maybe two nights so you just put up... more

\We stayed at the beginning of our New England tour & wanted to be able to see the city easily. Unexciting from the outside this fitted the bill, being clean & quiet, with no restaurant but near the Prudential Centre that has plenty. On the Trolley bus route we had no need of a car to see the city. The... more

Spent two days here with two friends. Hotel is well-located; Prudential Center a 10-minute walk down the street with plenty of restaurant options there. Thornton's Restaurant about 300 ft. down the street, a small, diner-type place but good for breakfast. "T" (subway) line nearby. Restaurant on-site but apparently closed (permanently?) Front desk staff efficient, answered questions knowledgeably. A technician responded... more

Just returned from a six night stay in Boston. And what a fine city it is as well! Having decided to get away for a few days, i thought it was time to heed my brothers advice and book a trip to Boston. He only had good things to say about it, so i thought it was time to find... more

-Stayed here for two nights at the start of a New England tour and again at the end of tour for another two nights. Hotel overall was OK....small two storey hotel conveniently situated in city. Staff friendly and efficient. No restaurant on site but a Thorntons restaurant one hundred yards along street for breakfast and snacks, so too is a... more

we arrived and thought this was an ok hotel until we realized the bedding smelled of men's cologne and low and behold we look under the bed and a used condom wrapper was laying there. When we told the staff including the night manager nobody apologised and they acted as if we were bothering them with something that was no... more

We stayed at the Midtown Hotel for 3 nights. Location is great - near shopping malls, 5 mins walk from a subway station, approx 25 mins walk to Boston Common and Downtown area. The outside of the building is really unattractive and the corridors are poorly lit with stained carpets so we didn't get a great first impression. However the... more

This was first stop on a touring holiday of New England/New York. It was on the whole, OK. No real complaints. No restaurant , but plenty of places round about and since we were a group, they put on breakfast for us. Again OK. There were certainly lots of places round about to sample the local delicacies such as Clam... more
