Make sure if you are not happy do complain!! I will to the Better Business Bureau I think a reviewer kellianne17 from Philadelphia maybe right. They probably will put you in their worse room if you don't book through their own website. I did at first. Country Inn also advertise "they guarantee the lowest online booking rate" . I found... more

This was a real surprise - despite being part of a chain the hotel feels boutiquey and individual. Although the facilities aren't amazing, the room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was a bonus, and the general ambiance is friendly and welcoming. So much better than some of the big chain hotels that are just around the corner. Highly... more

We stayed at the Country inn for 12 nights and agreed with other comments that the location is great. You are away from the crush of the French Quarter but it is an easy walk to get there and transport is easy by bus or trolley. It is good value for money since the hotel is pleasant and the rooms... more

I'm a pretty easy going person and like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this time I'm kicking myself for not being "a hotel snob." My husband and I (both early 30s) had a fabulous time in New Orleans so this review is only based on what we experienced with regard to our room, the location, service... more

I have stayed in hotels in Metairie, Kenner, the French Quarter, the Warehouse District, the Garden District, on Canal and on Bourbon Street and even in LaPlace one year when I waited too long to make reservations--you name it. Country Inn is a safe place for a single female traveler that doesn't cost $400 a night during Jazz Fest. New... more

Warnings?? What warnings?!? My friends and I decided we'd beat the odds this year and enjoy Southern Decadence in New Orleans for our first time in four years (the year before Katrina). Our plane landed and we grabbed the first available cab. As it arrived at the front of the hotel, I immediately was pleased with the location....not exactly in... more

After looking at reviews for hotels in New Orleans on TripAdvisor, my friends and I were very excited to be staying at the Country Inn and Suites. It was one of the highest ranking hotels, in a great location, and affordable! Plus, people raved about the hotel. Don't get me wrong; this hotel is decent. But that's about all it... more

We had our Army reunion here in the fall. Joe, our Concierge, helped so much with restaurants and tours. The location was so convenient. Magazine Street is a neat place to explore. Lisa Camp booked the reunion for us; everything worked out perfectly. The staff is very accomodating. A good time was had by all. Thank you Country Inns and... more

We thoroughly liked this hotel. The location is excellent. It's just off Canal Street, and is close enough to the French Quarter that you can take a break from wandering around to return to the hotel for a mid-morning "pit-stop". The hotel entrance area is large and spacious. It has a good sized reception area, with comfy chairs, bookshelves and... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in Mid November. Hotel pluses: value is great, free cookies, free decent breakfast, quiet rooms and great location close to the French Quarter etc. No real negatives other than maybe they could have more of a bar instead of 3 stools at a counter but I quibble. I would try to get a room not... more
