This year has been very difficult and we needed a place to relax and enjoy each other. The LePavillon Hotel was exactly what we needed. If you have seen the movie "Gone w/the Wind" then the lobby will be a replica. Of course this is just my opinion. The lobby and the dining room was exquisite. Now I must confess... more

This is a grand hotel with tons of character. A beautiful lobby that looks like it came out of a movie set. Gaudy and over the top, just like something in New Orleans should be. The service was warm without being pushy. Particularly the staff in the Crystal Room Dining Room was particularly pleasant. I had booked on Orbitz and... more

I'll start off by saying that I got a great deal on Orbitz that included the breakfast buffet which is valued at $18pp. The food and service was great. And Miss Pat makes amazing omelets! The lobby is nice, holiday decor, etc. Because I booked through Orbitz (at a low rate), I think that we managed to get the worst... more

Grand old hotel located in the Central Business district, a couple short blocks off Canal and Bourbon. Super opulent surroundings with quite small rooms. You wouldn't want to try and get more than 2 in a standard, but that's to be expected from an old boutique. This place is a little less casual than I usually choose, but it certainly is... more

This hotel stands alone in NO. 2 daughters went to college in NO so we have stayed at many of the top hotels over the past 15 years. The extremely friendly staff ( like the Bartender who has been there 34 years, the Doormen, Concierge, Dining Room Staff and Housekeeping ) all seem to enjoy what they are doing. The... more

The staff was so courteous, friendly and helpful. Overall service was excellent. The lobby and the rooms are beautiful. It's not your typical chain of hotels - it's very unique and charming. I was there on business and it made my stay very enjoyable. I felt like I was treated like royalty. Highly recommend. more

If you want to feel like you're staying in your grandmother's attic, you've found your place. The hotel tries too hard to have a renaissance sort of charm without modern amenities. The rooms are dark and stuffy, the comforters are course, and they offer such things as "hand drawn baths" for 50 dollars. Seriously, I'd rather enjoy a fridge in... more

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice. Each time, we were truly treated like a king and queen. The staff go out of their way to assist you. They call you by name and recomomend excellent, reasonably priced, high quality resturants. The hotel was so cheap on hotwire.com, this is the only way we plan to book... more

We just returned from an early fall trip to NOLA. In 2005 we stayed at the Pav, and it was splendid. A subsequent trip saw us booking at the Monteleone because of its proximity to the French Quarter (bad shoes on a trip had us wondering if we should save the wear on our soles by staying "in" the Quarter... more

We booked via Hotwire for $78 per night. We were very happy to see the location. We were in town for Tulane Parent's weekend, so the location was central to campus, french quarter, and Magazine Street. Upon arrival, we were swiftly brought in to check in. We were taken to our room by Nabeel ,who was respectful (ladies first on... more
