When booking this hotel for a very special New Year's Eve stay, I specifically asked for a guaranteed water view, and paid the premium price for one. Upon check in, they acknowledged a water view, but when I went to the room and opened up the curtains, all I could see was this huge container ship right in front of... more

I have stayed at this hotel twice now while visiting Seattle on business. It is in a great location right on the waterfront. Walking distance to Pike's Market and many other downtown locations. You can take an elevator just outside the hotel to go up to the next street level (Seattle is hilly). Hotel staff is great. The rooms are... more

We stayed here on a rainy Seattle weekend. Very nice waterfromt location. This hotel is great for first time visitors to Seattle. You are only 3 blocks away from the Pike Place Market. That is where I advice going for breakfast or lunch. It is very easy to visit the Market in the early opening hours, before it gets so busy.... more

The hotel is quite pricey, but deserves its 5-star rating. Location is good - close to Pike Place Market and to the water. City is a little farther. more

Stayed at this property for a combo business/pleasure trip. Service and amenities were excellent. Attentive, helpful staff, great food even in the business meetings, which is often just so-so. Only negative - hard to see from Alaskan Way so drive carefully. more

It has a very different look from a standard Marriot. Location is great for access to the waterfront. There is a railroad that travels on the back side of hte hotel and a main road along the front, so a little challenging getting across the road to the piers and restaurants. Also, the pier for the cruise ships is directly... more

We needed a place near the Bell street Pier for our cruise to Alaska. The Marriott Waterfront was wonderful for location and service! Cannot thank the people there enough for the wonderful hospitality and kindness. Traveling with someone in a wheelchair has special challenges, and I think this hotel filled our needs perfectly including delivering a shower chair immediately to... more

The Marriott Waterfront was the last hotel on our 3500-mile driving trip of the western U.S. & Canada. This hotel is on the Seattle waterfront near the passenger ship terminal which would be convenient for people taking cruises out of Seattle. Although both our Marriott Rewards guest profile and our Expedia reservation requested a quiet location away from elevators and... more

front desk staff kind and courteous. very comfortable beds. 24 hr room service with a limited menu, but this was great. interesting pool which is 1/2 indoors and 1/2 outdoors. deck on the outside of the pool area was very comfortable and a nice place to relax. liked that 1/2 of the pool was outdoors. indoor pool hotels tend to... more

I Stayed at the Seattle Marriot Waterfront from July 9-18 for work. The hotel is right on the bay and the views are pretty amazing. You are walking distance to everything. Only a mile or so to the M's and Seahawks stadiums, the SPace Needle etc. The food in the city was imo not great. I didn't eat at the... more
