I just stayed here last Thursday (11/20) with a group of about 30 and we had a wonderful experience. From start to finish we all thought Magnolia offered a real value for the experience. All the front desk and valet people that I dealt with were extremely friendly and professional. The shuttle service is great since I didn't have a... more

The architecture and decor of the hotel were beautiful. My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the jacuzzi suites. The layout of the room was weird, and the matress was hard. We used a gift certificate which included champagne and strawberries brought to the room, and dinner for 2 at the hotel. I wouldn't recommend eating at the hotel.... more

A long-time resident of Omaha, I was recently surprised by my significant other with a one-night "get away" at the Magnolia Hotel, located in downtown Omaha. This property has been through several chain ownerships, but Magnolia has transformed the once drab facility into a nicely renovated retro-modern (read: hip) place that, if some modest improvements in soft goods and perhaps... more

My friend in I were in Omaha for a concert at the Qwest Center. We wanted a nice hotel that was near the Old Market and had some class. We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were spacous, clean and very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. When we arrived we were met... more

I stayed at the property for the week for business meetings. The staff was very young at the front desk and usually couldn't help you without asking someone for assistance. The hotel room was nice but the pillows were way to soft and they didn't have any other choices. The room was located on a corner so I regularly heard... more

Overall a very good stay in a good standard hotel. The sort of place you'd happily stay on a business trip. The rooms were clean, well-furnished and very comfortable. The bar was modern and trying to look up-market and the young men who acted in the role of concierge were helpful and polite (the hotel laid on a free car... more

My daughter and I spent a weekend in Omaha shopping and getting ready for her to go off to college. We wanted to stay somewhere a little different and had heard great things about the Magnolia. (about how nice the staff was and how lovely the rooms were!) I booked directly with the hotel and the reservations person was very... more

Me and the wife just had a two night stay at this hotel for a wedding. THE GOOD:First off let me say the wedding was beautiful and the magnolia staff seemed to execute the festivities flawlessly. My guess is this a very popular place for weddings and rightfully so. Happy hour (free beer and wine) and cookie service are great... more

I arrived tired and wilted in the 108 degree heat index on a Sunday night in August. I was greeted by The Magnolia staff as though I had A-list celebrity! Pertinent information was graciously given me during the quick check-in. After being told of complimentary cocktails available then with cookies and milk later for bedtime, I went to find my... more

The good: Beautiful building and lobby, friendly staff. Modern room furnishings and decor, and pet-friendly (though there's a hefty $50 charge, which is higher than we've paid at any other hotel in the U.S). Mostly clean room. The bad: -upon entering the room i went to wash my face and found little hairs and a dried booger (sorry, but how... more
