Just got back from a wonderful two week 3 Island Hawaiian Honeymoon. We flew into Honolulu because it was cheaper. We booked the High Ocean View-Ocean Promotion for $149 a night during our Honeymoon around Christmas. Best value around for the price and location is great. Stayed for 3 nights, and would not suggest any longer. We were in the... more

Through hotels.com. I had purchased a HIGH OCEAN VIEW ESCAPE room. The booking agent told me that the room would be located somewhere on the floors numbered in the 20's so that we would be able to see Diamond Head, Waikiki Beach, and a grand view of the ocean. The booking agent also was careful to point out that he... more

The location was pretty good as the hotel is in the midst of everything, and pretty much across the street from the beach. We stayed in the older part of the hotel and it is ghetto!! We were with a group and some of the other people were in the newer part which was an improvement, but not great, but... more

For $129 a block from the beach, I have no complaints. The staff was very friendly, and without asking we got our Starwood Gold upgrade to a partial oceanview room. From our balcony we were able to enjoy the nightly live entertainment by the pool. My one complaint about the hotel is the slowness of the elevators. We had a... more

We've just booked our third stay at the Princess Kaiulani for the end of December 08. In 2002 for our 40th anniversary we stayed at the Hilton hawaiin village. It was nice but not very special. The staff in the restaurants and at the hotel were not friendly nor particularly helpful. When we booked our next trip, we stayed at... more

This hotel was fab! My husband and I are just back from Waikiki after staying for 5 nights here at the Princess Kaiulani. It is centrally located opp Waikiki beach and the staff were very helpul. The hotel was quiet, clean and spacious. We didn't eat in the hotel as it was rather expensive but the food looked gorgeous -... more

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel for a wedding. Nice hotel, in a great location. Hotel service is pretty responsive. There are better hotels in the same price level if you're looking for a beach view, i.e. the waikiki outrigger. Hotels on this stretch of the island has nicer smoother sand. Sandy down by the hilton, for instance can... more

First of all, this was my 7th stay at the PK. The rooms and service have certainly improved. This is a tourist class hotel. Don't be mislead by any website's star rating. It is a solid three at times and a meager two at others, but not a bit more or less. The people who posted the worst pictures paid... more

I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights and I can't say anything but nice things about it. The hotel is right in the heart of Waikiki, the beach, restaurants and shopping are all walkable. The pool is nice, cleaned every morning, entertainment at the pool every night. I ate at the dinner buffet one night, and it was very... more

Stayed for three nights and loved every minute. We actually booked a standard room with 2 double beds and was not expecting much at all. When checking in we were advised that we'd been upgraded to a pool view room with king bed. We had room 712 and it was fabulous - great view of the pool, the Moana Surfrider... more
